In the quest of wishing well for his fans, the actor took to his Instagram, captioning a post with co-stars, “Happy Good Friday my Good fans friends, pls who can tell us the full names of these Good actors?” The caption appears erroneous, as he intends to use ‘fans or friends’ but ended up using both at a time.
Noticing the grammatical blunder he might have made in the post by chance, a fan identified on the page as olayode_solomon commented, “Egbon, employ someone that will be helping you to operate and update your social media. Or what is ‘Fans Friends’ again?”
Tijani, however gave him an epic response with the use of Yoruba language. He replied, “oyinbo okuku gbo yoruba won osifi yoruba ko, beeyan oso oyinbo ogun, beeyan so oran, I don’t care of that am a comedian, oyinbo to funmi ni Visa kumope mio gbo ede awon.. thanks solomakinde…”
In translation, he meant, “the white people doesn’t understand Yoruba and they are not compelled to learn to learn the language. If someone refused to speak English, it is trouble and if you speak it too, trouble still remain. I don’t care of that because I am a comedian. The white people that gave me a Visa knows quite well that I can’t speak their language.”
