With a Net Worth of $21 Million Dollars, Davido has always been soaring among the richest Nigerian Musicians. Few of his endorsement deals include his N30 million naira deal with MTN, N100 million naira deal with Pepsi soft drink brand where Wizkid is also an Ambassador, and a deal with Guiness Nigeria worth millions. He’s at the top of the music industry, and one of the lucky Nigerian artistes signed to Sony Music.

‘Davido Obviously Has More Money’. When it comes to the money war, Davido holds the bigger gun. In addition to his achievement, being the son of a multi-millionaire makes him a very rich individual based off his future inheritance.

Before the release of his first album, he moved into a owned mansion when Wizkid rented a house in Lekki after considerable success after his first was released.

According to ‘Dare’ a Fan of both artiste who was interviewed, Davido’s money count is considered too much for Wizzy to match.

2. Davido Has More Presence In Africa

In the motherland, Davido has a firm grip. He was able to achieve this by touring the continent extensively within the last two years. While he was doing this, Wizkid preferred to solidify his fan base in England. Yes, Wizkid has been to a few African countries this year, but Davido made a wider coverage.

After touring the cities across Nigeria for his “BackToBasics” concert last year, Davido went on yet another tour titled “30 Billion World Tour”, this time, taking on performances in cities across Europe and the U.S before ending it in December at his home city, Lagos.

But understanding value of the paycheck and connecting with fans, Davido returned to the road for “30 Billion Africa Tour”, the revamped version of the world tour which started in Rwanda’s Capital city, Kigali. It was barely three months since the last one ended but it was a huge success across Africa

Davido also take advantage of all artistes (both underground and made artistes in different countries) and work with them unlike Wizkid, even if you invite him, he would have to like your product first before he feature on it.

Davido immediately shot another video to his hit song “Skelewu” after fans complained about it, if it was Wizkid, he would have insulted the fans. Davido has songs with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Diamond, Mafikizolo and counting. Not forgetting most of Wizkid’s hit songs were freestyles and unplanned.

Davido Has Been His Own Boss Since Day One

For four years Wizkid was under the EME set-up controlled by Banky W. He got a bit of independence when he created Star Boy in 2013.

Davido has been his own boss since day one. He created the HKN label in conjunction with his big brother. Davido has never had to answer to anyone.

6. Parental responsibilities

Wizkid has been called out severally by his Babymamas for either not spending enough time with his kids or neglecting financial responsibilities.

Davido is not totally out of family dramas, we can’t forget his scuffle with his Babymama, Sofia Momodu over their daughter Imade.

However, ever since the public drama with Sofia which extentended to a beef with Media mogul, Dele Momodu, Davido has managed to deal with family issues in a tender way and he makes his children top priority, Social media can attest to this.

Wizkid unlike Davido hasn’t found a way out of Baby mama dramas. He has proven busy recently, this has allegedly taken his attention away from his Baby mamas and children. This resulted to the recent embarrassment from his Baby mamas, his Second Baby Mama, Binta Diamond Diallo calls him out online, following the allegation by his first Baby mamma, Shola, who came out to shade the music artiste that he wasn’t doing enough for his son and he hardly visits.

Davido gave the world the Skelewu dance that caught on like fire. Wizkid hasn’t created a dance of his own. The closest he got was hopping the Azonto dance. O.B.O created a movement with Skelewu.

Wizkid, from what we know has been making dumb comments to his fans who made him. He once said “when broke people think they have a say” to a fan who inquired about his next album. These same fans made him and just like a typical African star. We’ve heard bad rumors about the kid star concerning his fans.

Wizkid is rushing for international fame just typical of most African musicians thinking that is the way to heaven. Truth is, you need to conquer your world first.

Currently Davido is popular all over Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Zimbabwe and his home country, Nigeria. He seems to have a plan, trying to conquer his continent before moving to the world. Wizkid is forgetting that the foreign world doesn’t have anything for him.
