Aloe vera

Aloe Vera is a powerful healing plant which has been used since ancient times. Egyptians called it “the plant of immortality” thanks to its many health benefits.

Nowadays, we mainly use Aloe gel against minor cuts and wounds as well as skin burns, but rarely anyone knows that the plant can be used for numerous ailments as well. Aloe Vera contains over 200 bio active compounds such as polysaccharides, vitamins and minerals, amino acids and enzymes which can boost the absorption of nutrients in your body. The gel has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties as well, and it can also detoxify your body and reinforce your immune system.

Aloe Vera contains minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, zinc selenium, chrome, iron, manganese and copper which can improve your metabolic pathways and boost weight loss. The gel of the plant contains enzymes such as lipase and amylase which can decompose fats and sugars and reduce inflammation in the body.

Aloe Vera is also a great source of vitamin B12 which is vital for the production of red blood cells. The plant is ideal for vegetarians who often lack this vitamin, and also contains other vitamins from the B group.

Aloe Vera also contains 20 out of the 22 essential amino acids our body requires to properly function. The plant contains salicylic acid as well, which can reduce inflammation in the skin and fight various bacteria. As it cleans the body of toxins, Aloe gel works great against ulcers, indigestion and other health problems related to toxic overload.

According to one study, the Aloe gel can also soothe oral ulcers and remove plaque deposits from the teeth. The gel can be taken undiluted, but it’s best to add some fruit juice in it due to its bitter taste. You can find the gel in most health stores or buy fresh Aloe leaves and extract it on your own by opening them.

Scientists have found out that Aloe gel can relieve more than 50 diseases, which is why you should start using it today.
