‘Dream come true’ — Yemi Alade unveils dates for Canada, US tour

Yemi Alade has announced the dates for her Black Magic tour.

The Afropop singer’s tour will take place from July 28 to August 18 at venues across the US and Canada.

The ‘Johnny’ singer will be touring with the Over Sabi Band which she describes as “a dream come true”.

“I am so grateful to be able to tour the world and meet people of different races everyday,” Alade said.

“I am thankful to you for showing up at every venue. It means the world to me.”

The tour dates and locations are listed as July 28 – Sacramento, August 2 – New York, August 3 – Vancouver, August 4 – Calgary, August 5 – Philadelphia, August 10 – Washington DC, August 11 – Minneapolis, August 17 – Toronto, and August 18 – Montreal.

Alade was recently listed among the 27 Nigerians in Forbes Africa’s 30 under 30 list. Superstar singers Wizkid and Davido were also included on the list.

The singer also sparked a debate among music fans when she recently said she is on the same level with Wizkid and Davido.
