Most countries in Africa, including Nigeria, are blessed with beautiful and diverse cultures. Ceremonial events are always filled with majestic and lovely displays of the rich lifestyle.
The king of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolo Kpolo, Oba Ewuare II, marked the second anniversary of his coronation in October 2018, and the whole city stood still to celebrate with the powerful monarch.
Several dignitaries and important personalities graced the occasion.
However, the day would not have been complete without the presence of the king’s five beautiful wives.

They were captured on video in their full glory, adorned with beautiful coral beads, as they sat regally at the occasion.
Oba Ewuare II is the 39th king of Benin Kingdom and the 70th ruler in the Ogiso dynasty. He ascended the 836-year-old throne of his ancestors on October 20, 2016, and it is the oldest and one of the most revered in Nigeria.
The governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, congratulated the king on his success of his kingdom two years after his ascension on the throne. This was done in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy.
Part of it reads:
“I wholeheartedly congratulate you on your second year anniversary on the highly revered royal throne.
“Your reign has brought enormous blessings to all our people and a new sense of direction that is propelling the state to greater heights.
“I salute your courageous and visionary leadership which has provided huge impetus for my mandate as Governor.”
