Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, on Monday hosted the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, at his Lagos residence.
According to Fayose’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, the duo had a fruitful discussion on how to rescue Nigeria.
“They had fruitful discussions on how to rescue Nigeria and its people from the clueless APC government and reposition the south west going forward,” Olayinka wrote on Facebook.
Fayose is the South-West coordinator of the PDP presidential campaign.
Obi reportedly expressed confidence in Fayose’s ability to lead the party to victory in the zone.
