Davido who insist that his show will still take place in Lagos, revealed that the show must go on so everyone now awaits the new venue for his ‘City of David’ concert by one of Nigeria’s biggest showman.
The DMW boss voiced out his frustration after his request to use Eko Atlantic City, the newly reclaimed highbrow neighbourhood for his planned concert in December was purportedly declined.
The BET 2018 Best International Artist award winner in a series of tweets hours ago insinuated that the decision to refuse him usage of the venue for his annual end of year showcase was politically motivated because of his allegiance to Nigeria’s main opposition party, the PDP, which he supported and campaigned vigorously for during the September governorship election in Osun State with his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke as flagbearer.
The singer in his tweet said he wondered why his request would be rejected but that he can’t be stopped as he was going to announce a new venue soon.
