England born, Stevenage highly-rated 18-year-old goalkeeper, Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu has pledge to play for Nigeria ahead of England, OwnGoal reports.
Ogbebor-Onaiwu will team up with the Nigeria’s U20 team, who are presently in camp, gearing up for the tournament.
Ogbebor-Onaiwu, a former Charlton youth team goalkeeper, had trained with the Nigeria’s U17 team few years ago, but failed to make the squad of the team, who were then knocked out of the qualifiers for the Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
