You don’t have to look far to find those who are making a difference in the country. Using their intelligence, time and resources to better the lives of young children, people like Abisoye Ajayi-Akinfolarin are the true leaders of tomorrow.
The 33-year-old women’s right activist and visionary is the founder of Pearls Africa Youth Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization aimed at educating young girls in under-served areas in Nigeria with technology skills.
Her hard work and dedication to bettering the lives of young girls in the country recently earned her a spot on the top 10 CNN Heroes 2018, she was nominated on November 1, alongside nine other remarkable trailblazers who are indeed changing the world.
Recently, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo met with Abisoye and some of her girls. Many Nigerians have reacted to the young woman achieving such a great feat.
