We have earlier shared the news that music star Adekunle Temitope popularly known as Small Doctor was arrested for unlawful possession of firearm. The singer was arrested on Monday, December 3. Barely 24 hours after his arrest, reports reveal that he has been released.
The musician released an unofficial statement via his Twitter handle where he revealed that he’s doing great and advised all fans to believe in God. He also thanked his fans for their show of love and support as his arrested erupted a massive storm on social media.
Reports revealed that Small doctor was arrested alongside three other suspects who were all found in an unregistered car. Luckily, the singer is now out of police custody and some fans are alleging that the whole arrest brouhaha was a publicity stunt aimed at announcing the set day for the doctor’s concert.
However, some other fans are glad that their favourite is out and are expecting that he give a sound explanation why he was caught in such controversy in the first place. Although, It was alleged that the singer had threatened to shoot a police man on traffic duty.

Some Nigerians who reacted to the initial arrest were surprised to learn that he was caught in such situation as it is public knowledge that he is an ambassador of Nigerian Police Force.

Meanwhile, former APC chieftain, Timi Frank, says Deji Adeyanju’s arrest is an attempt to silence activists who are against Buhari’s government. Adeyanju, convener of Concerned Nigerians, was recently arrested for leading a protest tagged Police Are Not Politicians, Save Our Democracy.
