How Burna Boy’s Mother literally quench Nigerians’ anger on her son

Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly called Burna Boy has been in the news for the wrong reasons since last week. It all started when the singer called out US Festival Organisers, Coachella over print of his name with small font on their flyers.

The first week of January ended with furious reactions from Nigerians towards Burna Boy after the Singer continued his rant against Coachella in which he called Nigerians ‘Backward Unprogressive Fools’ for not supporting his rant against Coachella.

Considering the amount of insults that was rained on Burna Boy after calling Nigerians  ‘Backward Unprogressive Fools’, many would have expected that Nigerians will continue to pour out their anger against Burna Boy at the Sound City MVP Awards but the unexpected happened.

Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu changed the atmosphere with her speech and dance steps.

‘Mama Burna’ is currently the number trending topic on Nigerian twitter and it’s simply because Burna Boy’s mum, who stole the show at the Soundcity awards in Lagos on Saturday.

Her son won Four awards at the show and she was on hand to receive them all on his behalf. Her speech and dance steps as she walked up the stage to pick up the awards on Burna Boy’s behalf has got everyone talking.

While receiving one of the awards, she thanked Kanye West for making the mistake of naming his album “Ye” like her son’s hit song title and went on to say, ‘expect more madness from Burna Boy this year’.
