Genevieve Nnaji earns N1,385,100,000 as Netflix starts streaming Lion Heart

Popular Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has reportedly earned $3.8 million (N1,385,100,000) after Netflix bought her movie Lion Heart. The movie which is currently being streamed on Netflix has been praised by many.

We had earlier disclosed that Netflix had purchased worldwide rights to the movie which has received positive reviews and international recognition. Netflix had announced Lion Heart as its first original film from Nigeria.

According to The Guardian, Netflix had purchased the movie for $3.8 million. Nnaij’s 2019 is about to be lit with her latest billionaire status checked off her list. The movie Lion Heart is the first movie the actress would direct.

The actress, who was excited by how everyone reviewed and watched her movie, took to social media to thank her fans. She noted that she appreciates everyone for accepting her movie.
