Recently, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Walter Onnoghen was suspended by the president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari. This action has generated quite a lot of reactions from Nigerians.

One of the people who have taken to reacting is Nollywood actress Maryam Charles.

The beautiful actress was agitated about the suspension of the CJN. She took to her Instagram page to register her discontent about the issue.

In her statement, she labeled Nigerians as hypocrites who could not stand up to what was wrong but only took to social media to sigh and make observatory remarks.

In a way, the actress also took to addressing those in power. She said they should remember that they would also have to leave the position any time soon.

Read her words below:

“Nigerians are hypocrites. No, it’s not a mistake. I said what I said. If we aren’t, why do we keep quiet when things are going so wrong? We have become so used to our twisted system that it has become normal. If this isn’t the case, how can the Chief Justice of Nigeria be suspended and all the noise we are making is just on social media? What happened to leading protests? Where are the civil organizations?

“Everyone is content with commenting on social media and that is it. Sigh! E go better. But Mr President, remember the country is for all of us. I won’t call you a tyrant like some people have been doing. Instead, I think you have forgotten what happens after you leave office. One day, you too will step out from your siren lead convoy. Till then sha , till then.”

shezzy605: “You look so beautiful”

jerrykingchidera: “So beautiful I didn’t even read the caption”

Maryam Charles who always weighs in on relationship issues recently took to saying that men who beat their women do not deserved to be called men in the first place. What a saying!
