Singer, Waje is on the cover of TUSH magazine’s latest issue. Waje was in a spotless pale pink leather jacket and pants. She also wore a red velvet ensemble, matching the title of her sophomore album, Red Velvet.
She opened up on her reinvention, versatility, her journey to discovering and doing more, as well as the decisions that led to the release of the Red Velvet album.
She talked on how she abandoned a completed album and started working on Red Velvet because she was drawn in by the story line.
According to her, Red velvet album is about a lover who has experienced love in different phases and talked on how she came about the album title.
Talking on competition in the industry, Waje said,
“We’ve just been told this lie that we are all competitors. Competition is great but it can be healthy. Competition is important but it can be healthy”.
