A man claims he has been haunted by the spirit of his dead son for nine long years. The man identified as Vincent Monyai, from Mamelodi West in Tshwane, South Africa, said his son Mongezi was only five when he died.

Vincent told Daily Sun: “He has been coming at night every week since 2010. “He asks me to build him a better home so he can have peace.”

Vincent said his son is clearly not at rest, as he appears naked and is crying loudly.

“When he comes, I sweat a lot and I become traumatised and powerless I’m the only one who sees him and he only comes in the middle of the night,” he said.

Vincent, the father of three said he blames the City of Tshwane for his son’s death, as the gate to the pool had not been closed.

Vincent said former councillor Eunice Matila promised to erect a tombstone and give his family an RDP house, but that never happened. “This is bad,Matila was playing with us,” he said.

She even said she would push the municipal offices to give us houses,” he said.
