Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho could return to the Premier League this summer to coach Everton. Sky Sports reports that Everton is in pole position ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan to secure the services of the 56-year-old at the end of the season.
The report claimed that the Toffees’ billionaire owner, Farhad Moshiri, is willing to bring Mourinho to Goodison Park and to release funds in order to strengthen the current squad.
Mourinho has been out of work since been sacked by Manchester United in December last year. The Portuguese gaffer is desperate to be back in the dugout for the start of the 2019/2020 season. Mourinho has won league titles in Portugal, England, Italy, and Spain, and recently spoke about how he wanted “a fifth league” in his career.
“I have in mind to win a fifth league and a new Champions League in a third club,” he had told Canal+.
