It all started with a Tweet from Gimba Kakanda reacting to Omotola Jalade’s comment on the state of the nation and then Oby Ezekwesili responded saying,
‘It is the degree of damage that hideous partisan politics of the worst variant has done to some of our “youths”. Was it also not here that @segalink when attacking us years ago because of @BBOG_Nigeria hurled similar trash at me who was prevailed on to go into government? #Sick’.
This response set off a chain reaction of tweets, accusations and counter accusation since Tuesday night and all parties involved are still going strong.

Whatever the issue between @obyezeks and @segalink, I expect a certain level of maturity especially from Aunty Oby.
Sega is never a fraud, in fact he’s been extremely useful to young people in our society.
You both should thread cautiously & don’t allow whatever to escalate.

Jumping into a defensive mode without knowing what you are defending means you are either ignorant or compromised. I see how many are defending @segalink without knowing the reason why Madam Oby is making an example of him. Sega should apologize to @obyezeks. He was wrong

After accusing Mama Oby @obyezeks wrongly, all you need to do Mr Segalink is to apologise publicly.
What you did here is not an apology. You are simply shifting blame.
Don't be clever by half.
Mama deserves a public apology from you. pic.twitter.com/3uLdqUX362

Segalink should have apologized to Madam Oby.

Well even if Madam Oby had issues with @segalink, I don't think this is the right time and channel to raise it.
We are preaching forgiveness yet we keep offences. We are blasting our rulers yet tearing ourselves apart on social media. Older people are behaving like children.
