Victor Moses who has been appealed to by many to rejoin the Super Eagle’s squad has stated that there is no going back on his retirement. The Chelsea owned winger retired from international football after the Super Eagles crashed out of the Russian 2018 world cup, citing the need to focus on his family and career at his former club Chelsea.
However, it has been gathered that the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, and coach Gernot Rohr have attempted to convince Moses to make a return to the senior national team which is preparing for the 2019 AFCON.
According to AllNigeriaSoccer, Victor Moses stated that there was no going back on his retirement from Super Eagles as he recounted how his biological parents discouraged him from playing for the National team again because most of the players are involved in fetish practices
Victor Moses is also wary of returning to international football because his family are scared that he might be deliberately injured by one of the many players competing for his position
