Sunday’s episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ still remains the most epic one yet as it finally saw the end and death of ‘The Night King’ who has tormented the seven kingdoms since Season 6 of the show.
While the Night King never spoke a word on the show, his brutal character spoke for him. Behind all the makeup and CGI eyes, the man who plays the Night King is Vladimir Furdik; a stuntman, actor, stuntdouble, sword master and fight choreographer.
The 48-year old actor hails from Slovakia. Since, 1990 Furdík has worked in Hollywood as an actor and stuntman, appearing in films such as Tristan and Isolde, ”Eragon, War Horse, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Skyfall as a stuntman. He also appeared as a Andrzej in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and as one of the four ship guardians in Prometheus.
