The hearts of some social media users were recently touched by an inspiring post about an old man who used to be a gardener for University of Fort Hare (UFH) and has now graduated with his very own degree.
The new graduate, Lukhanyo Mafu, was tending to UFH’s plants just 7 years before this proud moment. Lukhanyo can now proudly say that he has a Social Science degree under his belt.
A Twitter user shared Lukhanyo’s proud graduation moment with the world, praising his “black excellence”.
