Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, was on Wednesday elected as the new chairman of Nigeria Governor’s Forum, for a term of two years.
Fayemi takes over from Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari.
It was gathered that the Governors rejected Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, and opted for their favourite candidate, Governor Fayemi.
While thanking the governors for the trust vested on him, Fayemi promised to work for the overall interest of Nigerians.
