Patoranking has dropped his second studio album titled ‘Wilmer’ as scheduled for release today, May 24, 2019.
The reggae/dancehall singer dedicates the 12-track album to his daughter, Wilmer. This he announced in a poem he shared on social media on the first day of this month.
‘Wilmer’ album features six different artistes across the world with only Davido as the only Nigerian artiste on the album, unlike Patoranking’s first studio album that enjoyed Nigerian collaborations.
This time, Patoranking calls on Georgia’s Bera, Kenya’s Nyashinski, South Africa’s Busiswa, Congo’s Dadju and English singer and rapper from North-West London, Donae’o for support to make the album fit into international standard.
Off the album, Patoranking already released two acclaimed singles, ‘Lenge Lenge’ and a Davido-duet song, ‘Confirm’.
Patoranking dropped his debut studio album, God Over Everything, on 1 August 2016 and it debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart.
