Prior the official release of the album, Skepta had dropped two videos ‘Bullet From A Gun’, and ‘Grease Mode’ to up its anticipation. The former is a low-key video that previews different occurrences at the train station – people sitting for relaxation while they await the train, motherly love and even how some go to the train station for the purpose of stealing other’s goods.
The latter, ‘Grease Mode’ is a more party-friendly flick, portraying the rapper as a gangster clothed in ‘70s attire.
‘Ignorance is Bliss’ serves as the Tottenham-born wordsmith’s follow up compilation of songs to ‘Konnichiwa’ –a Mercury Prize-winning album that was released three years ago.
Aside this latest cooperation , in 2015, Skepta and Drake supported Wizkid on the remix of his acclaimed single, ‘Ojuelegba’. In 2018, Skepta, again, called on the Afrobeat star for assistance on his single ‘Energy’ that became an anthem in Nigeria.
