The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, AMPAS, has rescheduled the calendar of the Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, to fit the old late February pattern, which will be effective in 2021 and 2022 as announced by the organisers.
The 92nd Oscars is slated for Sunday, February 9, 2020; 93rd Oscars gets Sunday, February 28, 2021 and 94th Oscars is scheduled for Sunday, February 27, 2022.
“Timing of the 2022 Olympics, the Super Bowl and national holidays will keep the 2021 and 2022 dates on the last Sunday in February,” the Academy said in a statement. “The Academy and ABC continue to evaluate dates for future years.”

The 92nd Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network.
The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
