Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, will be paid double what the players get, if they win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations trophy.
According to Shehu Dikko, the vice-president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the total budget for the national team is about $8.5million.
The players will be paid $10,000 match bonuses for each group win.
If they qualify out of Group B into the Round of 16, they will get $12,500 each.
A quarter-final berth will see them earn $15,000, while a place in the semi-final attracts $17,500 per player.
If the Eagles triumph in the final, the NFF will pay them $20,000 each, bringing the total of match bonuses to $95,000 each.
Rohr will however get $190,000 for winning the AFCON.
Nigeria are in Group B alongside Guinea and two other debutants, Burundi and Madagascar.
