Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos received in appearance a 49-year-old man, Okechukwu Igwe over alleged threat to life with dangerous weapon.
The accuser who pleaded innocent is facing a three count charge bordering on breach of peace, threat to life and being in possession of a dangerous weapon.
The Prosecuting Counsel, Sergent Ajiteru Mary informed the court that the defendant committed the offences om July 3 at 5:30pm at Takutijesu Street, Jerry Farm, Odogunyan, Ikorodu.
Mary noted that the defendant unlawfully possessed a dangerous weapon, one knife, and also conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of public peace.
She futher stressed that the offences contravened Sections 411, 168, 42(d) and 409(d) of Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Magistrate, Mr O. M. Dawodu admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties each in like sum.
He adjourned the case until August 1 for mention, newsmen gathered.
