The chairman of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri has said the South African Police is being sued over the assault on a Nigerian resident in the country.
A Nigerian man named Tayo Faniran suffered brutality at the hands of the police in South Africa. According to an Instagram live video shared online, this guy who is a former contestant of Big Brother Africa was arrested after he refused to enter an unmarked police vehicle.
Abike Dabiri, however, got hold of the news and gave a report about the release of Tayo and said she was going to ensure justice was served in this matter.
Now, she has come out to give an update on the case. She said that the police in South Africa is being sued and a case is being pressed against them for their brutality.
