Nigerians author and activist Chimamanda Adichie has received widespread commendations for appearing on the September issue of British Magazine, Vogue. Famous for being the face of “Feminism” in Nigeria and Africa, Chimamanda appeared on the cover, alongside, Somali boxer Ramla Ali, South Sudanese model Adut Akech, among others.
The September issue of the magazine, which the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is guest editing, is focusing on women who “break barriers.”
“Baby girl…… I love you Chimamanda #forcesforchange the Duchess chose her and we love her and we live for a moment like this!!” said one twitter user who is obviously a huge fan of the writer.
Another user wrote, “Forget Her Vogue Cover and Beyoncè feature. Chimamanda really gave us Americanah, Purple Hibiscus and Half of a yellow sun in one sitting. She even gave us dessert with The Thing around your neck and how to be a feminist. I stan. Neè Achiever.”
The Anambra state born previously featured on American megastar Beyonce’s song flawless.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is one of Africa’s most talented writers. Her prose flows, her words stay with you long after you’ve read them and her characters are firm & solid people, with large amounts of emotionshttps://t.co/iTHAEKxEWY
