Nigerian recording artist, singer, songwriter, dancer and occasional actress, Nikki Laoye mourns her father on his 8th memorial. She penned down an emotional tribute to her late father, Prince Isaac Olushola Laoye, as she took a walk back memory lane, remembering.

Narrating how life has been since the death of her father, the gospel singer said the pain never goes away as no one could ever be ‘sweet, caring and super funny like him’. Nikki Laoye also vowed to keep the legacy of her late father while describing him as her number one fan.
She wrote;
“8 Years Today without you, Dadda.. August 3rd..a day that forever breaks my heart. With Mum at your resting place this morning…The boys can’t handle coming here as often as we do till date. Gosh, trying to be strong as always. It’s never been the same without you.. I have needed you so much in this transition season of my life…
