In Nigeria, we believe in showing the utmost respect for elders – elders meaning parents and their peers, grandparents, older friends and teachers. In an act reminiscent of that, ghetto singer, Daddy Showkey has been spotted in a bow position with veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, as he blessed him.

There is one name that cannot be ignored whenever talking about the contemporary Nigerian movie industry and that is Pete Edochie, the symbolic ‘godfather of Nollywood.’ The legendary actor, as old as the industry has remained relevant to date, has been on top of his game generation after generation.

Pete Edochie came into prominence after his famous role as Okonkwo in the NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s bestselling novel, Things Fall Apart. He lives his character in movies and commands respect in the industry. The veteran actor no doubt commands a lot of respect from both young and old, which is duly deserved.

The singer showed his humble and respectful side in a video slowly going viral. He was seen in a bow position in front of the ace actor while he prayed for him. Daddy Showkey posted it on his Instagram page with the caption, “Receiving a blessing from great legend and icon @peteedochie. Na Confirm Made!”
