Fan Says Simi Sounds Like Imbecile, Singer Fires Back

Nigerian singer, Simi has lambasted a fan on social media for insulting how she sings.

The fan identified as @Mr_jibola on twitter, crossed the line when he responded to another user who asked him why he said he “can’t stand Simi and Adekunle Gold’s music.”

Mr Jibola in his response, said Adekunle Gold, who is the husband of Simi, sounds too extra, while the wife sounds like an imbecile. “Simi sounds like an imbecile while adekunle is too extra,” he tweeted.

This tweet got the ‘Jamb Question’ crooner’s attention, and decided to unlock heavy insults on him, saying the grandfathers of his girlfriends sound like imbecile. “Awon baba baba girlfriend e lo sound like imbecile. Twat,” angry Simi tweeted in Yoruba language.

The couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in a low-key ceremony this year. They also recently released the music video of ‘By You’, which the fan seemingly insulted the singers over.
