Forbes Magazine has crowned popular comedian, Kevin Hart, as the highest-paid stand-up comedian in 2019.
Again, the funnyman over took the position from Jerry Seinfeld – a major contender, who has dominated the list since 2006, except for 2016 that Hart dethroned him.
Forbs says Hart earned made a total of $59 million last year, with all earnings from his Netflix special, stadium tour and sponsorships from notable brands like Mountain Dew.
Seinfeld who was sent to the second position, copped a total earnings of $41 million. His paychecks came from a residency he has at the Madison Square Garden owned Beacon Theater in New York and streaming episodes of “Seinfeld” on Hulu and “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” on Netflix.
Jim Gaffigan was third on the list with $30 million in earnings, which are from touring and his latest stand-up special for Amazon, “Quality Time.” Trevor Noah emerged the fourth on the list with $28 million, according to the report.
Forbes reported that Noah earned most of his income through stand-up. He released a Netflix special last fall and his 2016 book, “Born a Crime,” remained a New York Times bestseller.
