Nigerian singer Simisola Ogunleye, known by her stage name Simi, has revealed that she has enjoyed an uninterrupted power supply for over a week. The young singer talked about the power supply on Sunday, August 25.
The singer was joined by some Magodo residents, who also revealed that they have enjoyed an uninterrupted power supply.
Simi, who just like every regular Nigerian finds uninterrupted power supply unnatural, stated that she does not know what to do about it. She wrote:
“Guys. We’ve had light for over a week. I don’t know what to do.”

It was alleged that the uninterrupted power occurred in Magodo, area of Lagos state after the residents signed a deal Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company.
Some Magodo residents agreed with the singer about not knowing what to do with the uninterrupted electricity while others just thanked the power supply company.
We don’t even know what to do with light again in Magodo

I live in Magodo. This is the first time in my entire life I'll experience 24hrs/uninterrupted Electricity Supply as a Citizen in Nigeria. Still feels surreal. Massive savings for my Husband & I on Petrol/Diesel+Peace & Comfort. Welldone @IkejaElectric Cc @ugodre @toluogunlesi https://t.co/IV2ZHC3K1M
