Gospel singer, Kenny Saint Best, has said that women cannot dispose their panties or sanitary pads because of the rampant threat of cybercriminals who steal it for nefarious purposes.
The former Kennis Music A&R manager criticised the influence of Yahoo Yahoo in the Nigerian music industry during a panel discussion organised by Scroll report media organization at Sheraton Hotel Ikeja on Thursday.
The discussion was tagged ‘Fighting corruption and insecurity in Nigeria: the way forward’.
“This Yahoo Yahoo business with entertainment is affecting the women. We, women, cannot spread our pants outside anymore; women cannot dispose our sanitary pads anymore because they want to use it for Yahoo Yahoo,” Kenny Saint Best said.
She also slammed the entertainment industry for showing off a fake lifestyle to their impressionable audience.
The self-confessed politician also said that she is working on bridging the gap between the government and the entertainment industry.
“I am going into primary schools, public primary schools to catch those ones (children) that are artistic,” she added.
The mother of two said that by doing this she was hoping to stem insecurity at its root rather than wait for it to become more difficult.
Kenny publicly disclosed the results of her daughter who sat for the 2019 May/June West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in July.
According to her, her daughter scored 5 A1s, 3Bs and a C in the 2019 WASSCE exam.
Kenny Ogungbe’s younger also said her daughter’s performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) also earned her admission into Pan Atlantic University.
