Man declared wanted by Lagos Police appointed into MC Oluomo’s committee

The newly inaugurated caretaker committee led by Musiliu Akinsanya a.ka. MC Oluomo has appointed Mustapha Adekunle a.k.a Seigo, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the caretaker committee of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

Adekunle who was declared wanted by the immediate past Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Imohimi Edgal over his alleged role in the violence that erupted at one of the rallies of the APC in preparation to 2019 general elections.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that two journalists identified as Mr Temitope Ogunbanke of The New Telegraph and Dr. Emmanuel Oladesu of The Nation were victims of gunshots. MC Oluomo who was reportedly attacked with traditional knife at the governorship rally of Babajide Sanwo-Olu which took place at Skypower Ground, Ikeja spent number of days at the hospital.

Siego who was accused of engaging in violent attack with his supporters at the rally was reportedly listed as number one on the new list of members of the caretaker committee of the NURTW.

Inspite of promises made by the Police to prosecute 16 people arrested in connection to the attack at the rally, till today, nobody has been prosecuted or charged to court by the Police.
