A notorious teenager identified as Abdullahi Lawal has been arrested by the Katsina Police Command for involving in Indian Hemp business.
According to the statements credited to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Isah Gambo confirmed the arrest on Tuesday, September 17.
He further said that 18-year-old suspect was nabbed during a raid in a criminal hideout at Nassarawa village, Dandume LGA of the state last Friday.
The suspected Indian Hemp dealer was found in possession of forty-six wraps of dried leaves and later confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in court soon.
Meanwhile, after the mysterious murder of two young girls in hotels situated in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers state, the Rivers State Police Command have confirmed the arrest of two suspects linked to the crime.
While addressing newsmen at the police command, the state commissioner of Police disclosed that in the course of striving to ensure the arrest of culprits, they had an agreement with hotel owners and managers some weeks ago over compulsory installation of CCTV cameras.
