In fulfillment of his promise in 2017, Gov. Nasir El-Rufa’i of Kaduna State on Monday enrolled his six-year-old child, Abubakar into primary one in Capital School Malali, Kaduna, a public school.

However, three years after Gov. Nasir El-Rufai publicly made a promise that he would enrol his six-year-old child, Abubakar into public school, the sitting governor has fulfilled his promise and his son has been enrolled into primary one in a public school named Capital School situated in Malali, Kaduna.
According to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports, El-Rufa’i had in a state broadcast in December 2017, promised to enroll his child in a public school when he turns six years.
“The move is part of reforms to revamp public schools in the state to make them more competitive.
