A young lady has shared a conversation she had with a man who assumes any well-to-do lady is a call girl.
The lady, who is identified by her Twitter handle as @elharsh, shared her experience on the popular micro-blogging platform.
@elharsh shared a screenshot of a conversation she had with the man that repairs her air conditioner in Abuja. The conversation revealed how the man expressed that he is glad she is not a call girl because she can pay her bills from profits earned from her business.
The lady, who was frustrated by his statement, replied sarcastically, saying that she started her business by using profit made from sleeping with men for money. He did not understand her sarcasm as he replied, congratulating her for putting a stop to her job as a call girl.
In the tweet, the lady expressed that she is supposed to be angry at the man for addressing her the way he did but she has been in similar situations before and it is not new to her anymore.
I’m supposed to be pissed rn but this isn’t new to me. This is from someone that comes to fix my AC. Just look at Men pic.twitter.com/duaRxTSc4Z

Nigerians reacted to her tweet, saying many men believe women who can pay their bills without help are runs girls.
He's really not bright. He should just stick to repairing AC.

Your reply is how I would have replied too…bunch of judgmental people that can’t bear to even see a female living a good life

Men are so encapsulated with the habit of narrowing a woman to nothing better than sexual objects. It is sad and insane how people think the success of an average young woman out there is a product of runs.

A Twitter user identified as Jide Tileyemi, however, expressed that this idea of people judging women doing well for themselves as runs girls should not be generalised as a guy thing. He added that women judge women too.
Just look at your AC repair guy. It is not a man thing, women shame women too.

Another user identified simply as Brasha shared a similar experience she had with her landlord.
