PHOTO: Border security arrest Nigerian man, 14 others trying to enter India illegally

15 people including a Nigerian National have been arrested by the South Bengal Frontier troops of Border Security Force (BSF) while they were trying to enter India illegally.

The Public Relation officer of BSF South Bengal shared on his twitter account that the BSF troops effected the arrest on September 25.

“During operations against trans border crimes, BSF troops of South Bengal Frontier apprehended 15 illegal intruders including one Nigerian national while they were trying to cross border illegally through  different locations of IB on the intervening night of 25/26 Sept’2019” the state the reads.

Suspect

In other news, bags fully loaded with weeds suspected to be Indian hemp put inside a vehicle have been intercepted by the operatives of Ekiti state police command in Ise-Ekiti, the headquarters of Ise/Orun Local Government Area of the state.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the police apprehended these suspects heavily armed at about 7.45 am when the monthly sanitation programme, which normally cause restriction of human and vehicular movements, was ongoing.
