Zlatan Less Excited About Headies Next Rated Nomination

On September 24, 2019, Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show, the Headies, opened its doors to receive entries for its 13th music award with this year’s edition themed ‘The Power of A Dream’.

Zlatan Ibile doesn’t seem to have that much of excitement in him following his nomination in the headlines next rates award category. The Headies Award for Next Rated is an award presented at The Headies, a ceremony that was established in 2006 and originally called the Hip Hop World Awards

Zlatan Ibile was nominated along with other Fast Rising singers Rema, Lyta, Fireboy, Joeboy and Victor Ad. Reacting to the nomination, he took to Instagram to post the nomination list with the caption below ;

In related news, Nigerian singer, Jaywon is not happy with the newly released nominee list for the 13th Headies scheduled to hold on October 19th in Lagos.

The singer who is angry that his songs ‘Aje’ and ‘Saro’ didn’t get nominated in either “Best Vocal Performance” or “Best Alternative Song’ took to Twitter to say, ‘the Headies’ award committee has always been shit to me’.
