Jose Mourinho is monitoring Tottenham’s situation as he looks for a route back into management, SportsMail reports.
Former Manchester United and Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho may replace Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino. According to Calciomercato, Mourinho is among the top candidates to replace Pochettino.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that Tottenham have identified Mourinho along with former Juventus boss, Max Allegri as the top contenders to replace Pochettino, who is under pressure.
Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United last December.
Real Madrid, currently coached by Zinedine Zidane, is another club that want Jose, even as Mourinho remains in contact and on good terms with club president Florentino Perez.
Mourinho is prepared to bide his time and wait for the ideal opportunity, while working as a TV pundit.
The 56-year-old has already declined offers at former club Benfica and a £90million proposal from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande.
