The National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated campaign committees for Bayelsa and Kogi polls at the party National Secretariat in Abuja.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that former Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Governor Seyi Makinde among others were at the inauguration of PDP Campaign Committees for Bayelsa and Kogi States elections at the PDP National Secretariat Abuja.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress will not be able to garner more than 20 percent of the votes in the November 16 Kogi and Bayelsa states governorship elections.
The ruling party will also fail to attain the statutory 25 percent of the votes in two-thirds of local governments in the two states, PDP said.
