Appeal Court sitting in Makurdi has sacked the Deputy Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Christopher Adaji as the lawmaker representing Ohimini state constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In her ruling, the Court of Appeal in Makurdi upheld the judgement of the National and State House of Assembly’s Election Tribunal which first sacked the Deputy Speaker on Friday, November 8.

According to reports, the appeal filed by the PDP and Mr Christopher Adaji were dismissed on grounds of lacking merit. Justice I. G.
