A woman suspected to be a child trafficker met her waterloo in the early hours of today, November 10 as he was apprehended with a 6-month-old baby at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that personnel of Aviation Security arrested the lady while trying to board an aircraft to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
While reacting to the development, the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP) confirmed the arrest of the suspect and added that the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a teenager who allegedly raped his neighbour’s 50-year-old mother has been remanded in a correctional centre, pending legal advice by a chief magistrates’ court sitting in Kano State on Friday, October 11th.
The teenager identified as Babangida Inusa who resides at Falgore village, Kabo Local Government Area of Kano was arraigned by the police over rape allegations.
