The hashtag #ShameonNTA went viral last night on Twitter and kept trending with the intention to blast the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) for the ‘poor live coverage’ of the Nigeria Vs Benin football match played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Akwa Ibom on Wednesday evening November 13th.
The Nigerian Television Authority NTA became a laughing stock with the poor quality of pictures, graphics and commentary that greeted Wednesday’s game
This is coming after they were saddled with the responsibility of broadcasting the AFCON qualifying match yesterday, following SuperSports, announcing it would no longer continue broadcasting any Confederation of African Football content after the sudden cancellation of the deal between the continent’s football governing body and French company, Lagadere Sports.
A video making the rounds on social media showed the moment the commentator said Super Eagles won Nigeria 2-1…
Watch video and hilarious reactions below
