Residents of Osogbo and its environs who are users of prepaid metres have been groaning under darkness since Monday, November 11, 2019.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that these users are experiencing this hardship as a result of bad network which has caused unnecessary delay to process the payment for recharge.
Ogo-Oluwa and the station Road offices of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) are filled to brink with many consumers who are waiting endlessly for payments all to no avail.
One of the managers of the IBEDC offices disclosed that the problems came from their headquarters in Ibadan and they are working frantically to restore it.
As at the time of filing this report, the situation remains the same and there are speculations that if it is not resolved quickly, it might lead to chaos due to grievances of the visibly angry consumers.
It was gathered that many businesses have been grounded and entrepreneurs frustrated over the blackouts owing to inefficiency on the part of the electricity distribution company.
