Officials of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) have raided the skin care outlet in which a lady was spotted ‘peeling’ her skin in a water filled with a “greenish chemical”.
Several weeks ago, Within Nigeria, shared a disturbing video showing a woman lying nearly naked in a bathtub filled with water while an attendant was seen carrying out the exfoliation process.
And when the video of the new bleaching process ignited an uproar, the owner of the facility lashed out at her critics, severely.
NAFDAC officials, received a petition about the skin care outlet and decided to raid the facility today December 4 .
In the video shared online, NAFDAC officials were seen removing some of the skin care products for tests which will be carried out at their office.
