After Adopting Nigerian Name; ‘Chioma B’, Cardi B Adopts Yoruba Name For Baby Kulture (Video)

It is no longer news that Cardi B is currently in Nigeria. The American rapper has been doing the most since her arrival, from a meet to greet, to media rounds and having fun at a strip club.

She had an interview at Cool FM where she spoke about her Nigeria visit, music, daughter and much more.

Recall, the American rapper upon arrival adopted a Nigerian name; ‘Chioma B’ she has also adopted a name for her daughter Kulture.

Cardi B who is known for keeping it real did not fail to confess to watching adult movies in her room in the hotel she is lodged in Lagos. In the interview with radio personalities, N6 and Taymi, and singer Dare Art Alade, Cardi B described Nigerians as “great entertainers,” while she praised self-acclaimed African Giant and labelmate, Burna Boy, for his raw talent. The rapper also revealed Burna Boy’s 2018 single Ye as “one of her favourite songs”.

In her words, she said: “I was telling the heads of Atlantic that that song (Ye) is huge, it’s amazing.” She also spoke on her collaboration with OBO crooner, Davido. She revealed: “We did it (Fall) like a while ago and my label was like giving me a hard time, we had a very big argument cos we really wanted that to come out but…” Speaking on what she likes about Nigeria, the mother of one likened Lagos to New York saying: “There are so many people and it’s like New York!”

Cardi B also revealed that she now has a Nigerian name, Chioma B while Taymi B helped her pick a Yoruba name for her daughter, Kulture, basing the renaming on the circumstances surrounding the birth of the little girl which Cardi B revealed to be happy. The radio personality and Dare Art Alade later translate that to Ayomide.
