Top Nigeria politicians across two major political parties in the country, All Progressives Congress and People’s Denocratic Party have reconciled and reunited after tough political plays that graced the 2019 general election.
They met, smiled, hugged and interacted at the wedding ceremony of former EFCC Boss, Nuhu Ribadu’s son, Ismaila in Abuja on Saturday.
Ismaila is the son of Nuhu Ribadu, the pioneer executive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and former presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in 2019.
Amidst political differences and hot debate on national issues, they hugged themselves and the Senior special adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu was spotted kneeling down to greet the 2019 Presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
Some of the dignitaries who attended the wedding are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos state governor and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar, former vice president and 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Abba Kyari, chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Aminu Masari, governor of Katsina state, Aliyu Wammako and Ibikunle Amosun, former governors of Ogun and Sokoto, were also in attendance.
The wedding took place at the Al-Nur Mosque in Abuja.
