Swedish professional footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved once again that he is worth all the hype as he scored a goal in his second game since his return to Milan.

The Rossoneri recorded a fairly comfortable 2-0 win against Cagliari, with Zlatan helping his side secure his side’s first win in four games.

At 38, the Swede made his first appearance for Milan in his second stint during 0-0 stalemate with Sampdoria on Monday.

In his second game, he made the starting 11 despite his age and proved his worth almost immediately as he swept the ball into the net in the 64th minute for his team’s second goal.

A win for Millan means Cagliari have suffered four straight league defeats, but still remain sixth on the log.

Ibrahimovic might as well have bagged a second goal for his side as he guided a spectacular diving header to the back of the net but the goal was ruled for offside.

The win takes the Rossoneri to ninth with 25 points from 19 games.

Ibrahimovic is the proper definition of a football traveler as he has had stints in Spain, England, Netherlands, France, the US and Italy twice.

His most prolific part of his career came in his 30s at PSG where he scored 113 goals in 122 appearances.

Quite interestingly, after netting Milan’s second goal against Cagliari away from home, Ibrahimovic has now scored a professional goal in 4 different decades (from 1990s to 2020s).

Ibrahimovic’s first goal came on October 30, 1999, for his local side Malmo against Vastra Frolunda

He has since gone on to enjoy a prolific career with Saturday’s goal being the 475th goal of his career.
